The Legacy by Rodri floral design workshop was designed to share a passion for flowers while enhancing the design skills of florists and event planners. Rodri Studio, international floral designer and event planner based in Miami, Fla. presented this 3-day event featuring a hands-on design workshop using fresh-cut flowers from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors.
The workshop took place at the Crystal Ballroom in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. featuring additional speakers including floral designer, Sandrine Francis, Soco Alicea Events, Lara Rios Photography; along with Jet Fresh’s Fernando and Jimi “the Tulip.”
The Legacy by Rodri workshop featured an elegant color palette using fresh-cut flowers from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors in Miami. Perfect for weddings and events, there’s a gorgeous balance of lavender, deep purple and hot pink, softened by light pink and white cut-flowers.
The flower types chosen for this workshop are some of the best selections for weddings and events. You can never go wrong with cut roses in every shade, followed by Hydrangea, Lisianthus, Spray Roses, Stock, Delphinium, Gerbera Daisies and Orchids. All of these items and much more are available at Jet Fresh.
The Legacy by Rodri workshop featured helpful speakers involved the event industry who gave tips and answered questions from their students. On the first day, our sales manager, The Fern as well as Jimi “the Tulip” spoke during their educational session, giving students advice for buying wholesale flowers as well as proper handle and care tips.
Check it out! On the second day, our Cash and Carry manager, Olga Ramirez, AIFD, CFD also joined the workshop building floral arrangements with the team, bringing Rodri’s vision to life.
The flowers used in this workshop are grown all over from North to South America, and from top flower farms. Our friends at Rosa Flora Limited in Ontario, Canada grow an impressive amount of flowers including Gerbera Daisies, Lisianthus and Stock, which arrive to us with no breaks in the cold-chain. Ecuadorian roses also include top varieties from our farm, Jet Fresh Flower Growers, S.A.
