On October 20, 2018 Blooms for Boobs sponsored the Pink Flower Shop for breast cancer awareness month at Dadeland Mall. Using flowers donated from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors in Miami, Fla. people donated $10 to make their own floral bouquet to benefit Susan G. Komen’s Miami/Fort Lauderdale chapter.
This one-day event lasted from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the center court of Dadeland Mall in Kendall, Fla. and presented by Simon Malls.
Blooms for Boobs is our breast cancer awareness initiative which donates to causes which supports the fight against breast cancer.
We recently created this Preserved Rose Pink Ribbon for this event using preserved roses donated from Rose Amor to help draw attention towards this event.
The Gerbera Guy made a special appearance for this event. Children and adults stopped to say hello and take pictures with him. He’s always a crowd favorite.
It’s fun seeing people getting creative with flowers and designing arrangements of their own. Flowers really do make people happier.
