Yeni, our Accounts Payable Supervisor in Miami recently went to Ecuador for a nice relaxing vacation exploring the amazing sights for the new year. She visited our rose farm, Jet Fresh Flower Growers, S.A. in Cotopaxi for the very first time, as well as some of the most scenic views in Ecuador.
Yeni Visits The Farm
This was Yeni’s first time visiting our rose farm, Jet Fresh Flower Growers, S.A. She got a chance to see so many beautiful varieties growing straight from our greenhouses, including red “Explorer,” “Creme de la Creme,” and one of our newest varieties, “Sandy.”
Yeni received a great behind-the-scenes tour of our entire farm accompanied by our farm pups Whitey and Blacky (not pictured).
She enjoyed seeing the roses packaged before they are shipped to Miami. You certainly form a deeper appreciation for cut flowers when you see the product in all stages of production.
scenic views
Prior to her visit to the farm, Yeni stayed at Imbabura, a province located in the Andes of northern Ecuador, for some much-needed R&R after the holidays. She stayed here with Melisa enjoying the views overlooking the city of Ibarra.
Other stops included a visit to the city of Mindo, a village in the Andes Mountains of northern Ecuador.
As well as a special return to the Laguna de Quilotoa, a water-filled caldera with spectacular views of the most western volcano in the Ecuadorian Andes.
Fun fact: The Laguna of Quilotoa was first featured on our blog during Casey and Mommy Black’s first trip to Ecuador.
