Check It Out: USA-Grown Lilac #FreshInspiration with Olga Ramirez, CFD

We’re very excited to announce the arrival of USA-grown lilac at Jet Fresh Flower Distributors. Lilac is a perfect filler flower to go with Mother’s Day bouquets for the holiday this Sunday, May 12, 2018.

In our new edition of #FreshInspiration, our Cash & Carry manager, Olga Ramirez, CFD designed a gorgeous flemish-style bouquet using lilacs as well as other gorgeous flowers from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors. Check out all the amazing ingredients, and see the lilacs arranged in the early stage — just starting to bloom. The results are beautiful, and her bouquet is still thriving at the front of our office. Check it out!

USA-Grown Lilac

As this bouquet continues to hydrate, the USA-grown Lilac will continue blooming, revealing clusters of adorable lavender petals. The petals lighten as they fully open, adding a delicate softness to this gorgeous arrangement.

This pantone-perfect flower complements other purple flowers beautifully, while also working well with other color palettes. Order lilac, and all your wholesale flower needs, this Mother’s Day from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors in Miami, FL.

Bouquet Ingredients

Along with Lilacs, there are incredible focal flowers featured in this bouquet including Arctic Ice Cynaroides Protea and “Gardenia” and “Odile” Peonies. Both of these flower types typically get larger as they hydrate, filling space within this flemish-style bouquet. This bouquet style prevents the flowers from overcrowding, and allows designers to use less flowers in a bouquet for a greater affect.

Olga includes lovely filler flowers that have interesting shapes and textures to make this bouquet extra special. Utilizing bunches from our Cash & Carry, local to the flower trade, she added in Scabiosa, Allium, Veronica, Brunia Helleborus, and green Feather Acacia. (Click for a closer view.)

Olga Ramirez, CFD will be inducted into the prestigious AIFD this summer. The induction ceremony takes place at their annual Symposium located this year in Washington, D.C. We’re very proud of Olga and her accomplishments, and can’t wait to see what she creates next!
