Blooms for Boobs is a special program created by Jet Fresh Flower Distributors that’s aimed towards raising awareness and funds for breast cancer using our fresh-cut flowers. We proudly team up with organizations, hospitals and charity events year-round by donating fresh-cut flowers. Throughout October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, our Blooms For Boobs campaign collects a portion of our pink flower sales to be donated on behalf of our customers to support the fight against breast cancer.
For the past few years, we have supported organizations including Susan G. Komen, Memorial Foundation and the Memorial Breast Cancer Center, which have received proceeds as well as funds raised from flowers to support the fight against breast cancer.
Flowers have special healing powers. And what better way for us to support this important cause than with flowers of our own.
A portion of the proceeds collected from this month’s pink sales will go to support the Susan G. Komen foundation. Earlier this year we donated towards their South Florida chapter’s Race for the Cure in February which also held an emotional Survivor’s Ceremony using our flowers to represent each survivor in attendance that day.
Jet Fresh has also supported the Memorial Breast Cancer Center located in South Florida by donating proceeds for pink flower sales in October, as well as fresh-cut flowers to decorate their facilities and lift their patients’ spirits.
In May, we also sponsored the Susan G Komen Mother’s Day Pop Up Shop at the Dadeland Mall in Miami, Fla.
