In honor of International Women’s Day, we’re recognizing our Jet Fresh Flower Growers team which is 85% female. Like many flower farms around the world, including ours, the quality of your fresh-cut flowers are in the hands of talented, hard-working women. Join us in celebration of these dedicated women who are involved in various stages of our rose production from maintaining the greenhouse, to harvesting the stems and packaging them.

“Purple is historically associated with efforts to achieve gender equality. In this context it was first used alongside green and white as the colors of the Women’s Social and Political Union, the organisation that led Britain’s women’s suffrage movement in the early 20th century.” International Women’s Day is also an official public holiday in Russia after women gained suffrage in 1917.
