On Saturday, May 12, 2018 the Dadeland Mall in Miami hosted a flower pop-up shop in honor of Mother’s Day, May 13, 2018.
From 10am – 2pm, customers donated $10 to design a custom floral bouquet to give to their mothers for Mother’s Day. Proceeds from this event went to benefit Susan G. Komen in Miami/Fort Lauderdale.

The flower pop-up shop was filled with colorful flowers in many different varieties so that each customer could design bouquets that are unique and special to them.
The event had a nice turn-out with people of all ages and genders who wanted to create something special for mom, while supporting a good cause at the same time.
Many customers chose colorful assortments which came out beautifully, putting their own creativity to the test.
Mother’s Day Preserved Rose “MOM” Display
Our Preserved Rose “MOM” display, recently featured on the blog, made a 2-day appearance at Dadeland Mall’s Mother’s Day festivities this weekend. They used the styrofoam letters we covered in Preserved Roses to make a colorful photo area for the flower pop up shop as well as their Mommy & Me event the day before.
A big thanks to Lourdes and her marketing team at Dadeland Mall for making these events a success and for including us.
