Jet Fresh Flower Distributors and Blooms For Boobs had another successful fundraiser during breast cancer awareness month in 2018.
Our annual Blooms for Boobs fundraising campaign selects one local organization that’s helping towards the fight against breast cancer. This year we raised funds to support Susan G. Komen Miami/Fort Lauderdale.
During Breast Cancer Awareness month, we collected proceeds from pink flower sales to donate on behalf of our customers. This year we raised $1,260 which we officially gave to Susan G. Komen Miami Fort Lauderdale on Monday, November 19, 2018.
Along with our monetary donation, we also surprised them with the pink preserved rose ribbon which we made for breast cancer awareness month. This pink 4-foot styrofoam ribbon is covered in various pink preserved roses graciously donated by Rose Amor. Jet Fresh couldn’t think of a better recipient to also keep this long-lasting preserved rose display to raise further awareness for breast cancer and Susan G. Komen.
This year Blooms for Boobs has supported Susan G. Komen’s Miami Fort Lauderdale chapter twice by donating wholesale flowers for fundraising. Dadeland Mall in Kendall, Fla. hosted flower pop up shops for Mother’s Day as well as Breast Cancer Month welcoming visitors to create their own bouquets. For $10 each person hand-picked stems creating their own unique arrangement with proceeds entirely supporting Susan G. Komen Miami Fort Lauderdale.
