Jet Fresh Flower Distributors is so proud to announce that our talented Cash and Carry manager and resident floral designer, Olga Ramirez, CFD will soon be inducted into the prestigious AIFD. Olga will officially become an accredited member of AIFD during the induction ceremony at the 2018 AIFD National Symposium in Washington, D.C. from June 30-July 4.

“The AIFD® Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support for educational purposes, scholarships, projects and programs that facilitate the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of floral design and related fields.”
AIFD’s National Symposium provides “world-class education, design inspiration, networking, trend research, and opportunities to source new products,” during the floral industry’s five-day premiere floral design event.
Last year, she participated in the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) in order to become AIFD-certified. This took place at the 2017 Symposium “X” in Seattle — which she passed on her first attempt! Olga impressively achieved the scores required to receive the invitation to AIFD. Check out her designs!
Prior to earning her accreditation, Olga first became a Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) through an AIFD-approved education partner, the Yola Guz School of Floral Design. Here she received the required training and education through the guidance her instructors, Yola Guz, AIFD, CFD and Ruben Consa, AIFD, CFD.

“Check It Out!”
Olga Ramirez has been with Jet Fresh Flower Distributors for over 8 years working as a dedicated sales representative, managing the Cash & Carry flower market, as well as being our resident floral designer.
Her catchphrase, “Check It Out” has been spreading throughout social media — which Olga has been recognized for in the floral community. Olga’s “Check It Out” videos feature new and exciting products available in the Cash and Carry flower market.
Throughout the years, Olga has created floral arrangements for the company using only flowers from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors.
Many of her designs are used as Fresh Inspiration to give our customers fresh ideas for combining many rare and unique flowers that we carry, as well as helping her excel as a floral designer.
Olga has also been a big asset in making our trade show displays and floral projects come to life.
Working closely with our marketing team, we work together to make fun, colorful ideas come to life.

Olga was recently recruited by Schaffer Designs, Bill Schaffer AIFD, AAF, PFCI and Kristine Kratt AIDF, PFCI to work on a Watercolour art installation for the 2018 Philadelphia Flower Show.
