At the Jet Fresh Flower Growers farms, we prioritize the health and wellness of our team members. Taking care of our team contributes to a positive and productive work environment. As part of our commitment to their health, we organize various initiatives and workshops to educate and support our team members. Our recent initiative was a second workshop conducted by Aya Warmi, a Quito-based company that produces menstrual cups.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about Women’s Health and promote the use of menstrual cups as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional disposable products. Ana Maria Castro, of Aya Warmi shared valuable insights and information about the advantages of menstrual cups, not only from a financial perspective but also in terms of personal health and ecological reasons.
By hosting this workshop, we encouraged open dialogue and provided a safe space for our team members to discuss an essential aspect of women’s health. We believe that it is crucial to empower individuals with knowledge about sustainable options and equip them with the tools they need to make informed choices.
