Floral designer, Sarah Campbell of Intrigue Designs has been on a non-stop tour teaching lavish floral design workshops nationwide. Since 2018 Intrigue Designs has been all over the map hosting the Intrigued Experience, a multi-day event joining floral design, styling, and business education, guided by the leaders of the wedding industry.
Intrigue Designs went international for the first time with their latest workshop in Toronto, Canada where they hosted a floral installation design workshop. On June 3-4, 2019, Intrigue Designs created six colorful floral installations featuring fresh-cut flowers from Jet Fresh Flower Distributors in Miami, Rosa Flora Limited in Ontario, and Jet Fresh Flower Growers in Ecuador.
Intrigue Designs’ workshops are open to florists, wedding planners, event designers and creatives looking to enhance their floral skills. This mentoring event taught various techniques and mechanics for building ceiling installations, floral pillars and wall installations; as well as shared recipe and ordering secrets to help maximize the client investment to create over the top designs — all while having a great time.
The Installations
Intrigue Designs’ Installation Workshop in Toronto consisted of six unique floral installation arranged using various techniques.
Wall Installations
The 15-foot cascading floral wall installation featured a lavish amount of fresh-cut flowers from Jet Fresh Flowers and Rosa Flora Limited. This exhibit was arranged using chicken wire and beautifully color-blocked with lighter shades on top and darker shades below that help play with depth.
All hands were on deck creating this dreamy turquoise floral wreath. This lively wall installation was a real scene-stealer with turquoise color-enhanced greenery providing exquisite contrast to luxurious red and pink flowers. White anthurium stood out perfectly as the only hint of white scattered throughout.

Floral Pillars
Staying perfectly in theme, theIntrigue Designs Installation Workshop in Toronto designed a stunning floral pillar backdrop that’s color-blocked isolating “Pink Floyd” Roses, “Coral Reef” Roses and Turquoise color-enhanced greenery.
Ceiling Installations
The Intrigue Designs Installation Workshop also built two ceiling installations using red “Freedom” roses from our farm, Jet Fresh Flower Growers, S.A. and Turquoise color-enhanced plumosa fern. This practice taught great fundamentals using chicken wire to properly support these structures.
Floral Orb Spheres
Last but not least, each person made their own fresh flower orbs using orbs provided by Oasis Floral Products. Each orbs consisted of a single flower type using red flowers such as roses, peonies, tulips, gerbera daisies, and alstroemeria, all available at Jet Fresh Flower Distributors.
