We are thrilled to announce that Jet Fresh Flower Growers has been honored with the Social Responsibility Award for our Laundry Program, “Lavandería Mi Ropita Siempre Freshquita.” The recognition was bestowed upon us at the Siflor International Floriculture Symposium held in Quito, Ecuador, this November. Siflor is a non-profit association that aims to contribute to the human development of Ecuador’s flower-growing workforce.
At the event, our dedicated team members, Carlos Coloma and Majo Flores, had the privilege of representing Jet Fresh Flower Growers. The Laundry Program was designed with the well-being of our employees in mind, particularly many of our team members who are women with families. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we aim to ensure that our employees have ample time to relax, rest, and enjoy precious moments with their families on weekends.
“Lavandería Mi Ropita Siempre Freshquita” takes care of the laundry needs of our team, allowing them to take home clean, folded clothes without the burden of household chores. This award not only acknowledges our commitment to employee welfare but also highlights our dedication to creating a workplace that values and supports the holistic needs of our team members. “This achievement fills our hearts with immense pride, as it reflects our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our team members” said our Head Coach, Michael Black.
